Friends and Family,

Well everything is going well in my mission here in Chile Rancagua, I have a year and 4 months now and lovin it. Right now I’m in the capital Santiago of Chile, in the south of Santiago a place called San Bernardo like Sandy is to Salt Lake, it’s probably the most ghetto part of Chile but when there are more problems, more people need the Gospel. There have not been any earth quakes for a while so it’s been pretty chill here at the moment. There is an expected 9,0 earth quake coming supposedly this year, but no one really knows. The Mission is getting tons of supplies and 72 hour kits and all so we’re pretty sure one will be hitting this year. The people here are amazing, so kind, humble and loving. I wish you could all come and get to know the people and the members of the Church here. I am loving the work. To come on a mission has been the best decision of my life, I have learned so much. The food is pretty good.... in Chile. Nothing like papa Ty’s and mama Mindy's cooking. My comp Elder Hamilton is awesome, really good comp. He is from Cali but now living in Lehi Utah; we get along really good and have a lot of fun while working hard. Spanish is fun; Chileans don't really speak Spanish haha they make up a lot of their own words so it’s been fun learning Spanish and Chilean. I feel really comfortable with both so I will be able to finally speak to my dad’s workers when I get back haha. Our Ward is amazing; full of Rms so they pass us a lot of names and people we can work with. Our stake that we’re in is progressing really fast; we just got a new stake pres. We had a meeting with him and the Mission pres last night and put in a whole bunch of plans to get things moving. Next month we are having a mini mission with all the youth and Elders in our zone. Chile has a huge problem sending missionaries out. There are 20,000 youth between the age of 19 and 25 and only 500 are out on missions so we’re trying to get them out. Our investigators are doing well, heading towards baptism. We are baptizing a 17 year old kid this week that has plans on going on a mission. The weather here is pretty good; it’s a lot like Utah but not as cold in the winter and no snow. Well I would like to share my testimony with you all that I know this is the one true Church that God has restored here on the earth. Wow this is weird in English. But I know that Josè Smith Is a prophet of God and through him God put his church once again to bless our lives. I know that The Book of Mormon is the word of God and through it we can always get closer Christ and his love. I know that Thomas S. Monson is God’s prophet today and through him we can learn of the things we need to do to once again; live with God with our families and live forever in happiness. Where ever you are, share the Gospel and the Lord will bless you more then you know!!!

I love you all!!

Como esta usted?- Means how are you guys? The MTC is absolutly amazing! Everything is going well. Spanish is coming pretty fast. I can already bear my testimony, say a prayer, and start up a conversation. I love it here The food is amazing. I eat over 1 million calories a day and love it.
My companion is awesome! He is from Orange County and he plays water polo like you, dad. He is built pretty much the same as me, I mean like he's 6'2", 190, and yeah. We get along great. My roomates are also awesome! All four of us are going to Rancagua so I will see them all there. These kids are amazing, so spirtual. After three days it feels like I've been really good friends with them for years. Kenton would love them. Eveything's just going amazing here. My teachers are awesome, extremely inspired, all they're here for is to help us. I love it.
